About Ben Hudson

Ben Hudson has more than three decades of experience in the global defence industry, combining senior executive leadership with extensive expertise in defence technologies and international programmes. Earlier in his career, he served as an officer in the Australian Army. He subsequently held a number of senior leadership positions at some of the world’s leading defence companies, including Group Chief Technology Officer at BAE Systems plc and Global Head and CEO of Rheinmetall’s Vehicle Systems Division. Prior to joining CSG, Ben served as Chief Executive Officer of Hanwha Europe, UK and Australia. Throughout his career, he has led complex programmes for customers around the world across all operational domains, including land, air, maritime, space and cyber.

Ben joined CSG in June 2026 as Chief Executive Officer of CSG Land Systems and Group Chief Technology Officer, with responsibility for the strategic development of the Group’s land defence capabilities, technology strategy, research and development, and innovation. Effective 1 August 2026, he was appointed a Member and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP a.s.
