Global industrial technology group CSG through its member company Excalibur International a.s., has signed a cooperation agreement with Bavovna, a US-based developer of advanced technologies for autonomous defence systems and navigation. The agreement aims to support the global deployment of Bavovna’s products based on adaptive autonomy technology and alternative navigation solutions.
Under the agreement, Excalibur International will coordinate commercial activities and leverage its established business relationships to support Bavovna’s expansion into international markets and the development of new business opportunities. Bavovna’s technologies will be used, among other applications, in customer projects involving unmanned vehicles operating in the air, on the surface and underwater.
Adaptive autonomy refers to the ability of an autonomous system, such as a drone or another unmanned vehicle, to adapt its behaviour to changing conditions and respond to them without continuous human intervention.
“This cooperation with Bavovna aligns with our efforts to connect advanced technologies with established commercial channels and international partners,” said Vojtěch Polák, Member of the Board of Directors of Excalibur International.
“Partnering with Excalibur International will help Bavovna expand its presence in key defence and security projects. It will also enable us to leverage EIN’s strengths in commercial coordination and market access,” said Maksym Prasolov, Chief Growth Officer (CGO) of Bavovna Inc.
Bavovna previously became part of the portfolio of the Tech Horizons investment fund through its project involving a hybrid AI-based system for autonomous drone navigation. CSG acts as a strategic partner to the fund.
