Press releases
Following unanimous approval by the ASD Board, the industrial and technology group CSG, owned by entrepreneur Michal Strnad, has become a new member of the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD). For the CSG, this represents an important step that will further strengthen its role and engagement at the European level. With CSG’s accession, ASD now brings together 28 companies and 23 associations from 21 European countries.

“CSG’s membership in ASD is an important step in strengthening our engagement at the European level. Europe’s security depends on a strong, innovative and resilient defence industrial base, and ASD plays a key role in bringing industry and institutions together. We are proud to contribute CSG’s industrial capabilities and technological know-how, rooted in Central Europe, to the collective effort of building a more sovereign, secure and capable Europe.” said Michal Strnad, Owner and Chairman of the Board of CSG.

“I warmly welcome the new member to the ASD family. Its experience and technological expertise will be a valuable contribution and further strengthen ASD. I am particularly pleased to see increasing engagement from Central and Eastern Europe’s dynamic industrial base, which plays an important role in Europe’s security and resilience. Our growing membership and the diverse profiles of our members underline ASD’s identity as a genuinely European association representing a broad ecosystem of companies supporting a sovereign and secure Europe,” added ASD Secretary General Camille Grand.
