About Susanne Wiegand

Ms. Wiegand serves as an independent non-executive director of the company. She has over 29 years of experience in industrial strategy, defence, engineering and corporate leadership. She is currently a supervisory board member and chair of the audit committee at Volkswagen AG, and also serves on the supervisory boards of Brenntag SE and BWI GmbH, as well as the board of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik. Ms. Wiegand was previously chief executive officer of Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH and held senior roles at Rheinmetall Air Defence AG, Rheinmetall Italia S.p.A. and ISRA VISION AG. She began her career in management consulting and held leadership roles at thyssenkrupp Marine Systems and several German shipyards before joining RENK in 2021 as chief executive officer. Ms. Wiegand holds a degree in business administration from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt.
